CLIMATE

 

The town of Pasuquin is boundly by the Municipality of Burgos is the North in the east by Vintar, Baccara in the South in the South China  in the west.  The town's Poblacion is situated on plain land south of the Bilatag River. 

Pasuquin is of Type "A" characterized by a long dry season from November to April and a very half of the year.

 

 

 

LAND AREA &

TOPOGRAPHY

 

 

Pasuquin can be reached by all types of motor vehicles which is 18 kilometers north of Laoag City, 236 kilometers north of San Fernando La union and 505 kilometers away from the City of Manila.

  Topography is mountainous to rolling lands.  Its rice fields are located in a small strip of lands along the western portion of the Municipality.

 

 

 

ECONOMIC    DEVELPOMENT      

 

The hardworking people of Pasuquin are predominantly farmers.  They raise a variety of crops throughout the year, are following, rice, garlic, onions, corn, mongo, beans, and sugar cane.  

A good number of people in Pasuquin are professionals and non professionals are work abroad, like in Hong Kong, Canada, Taiwan, especially in Hawaii and America, The Hawaiio's,  and Hawaiina's.

The Poblacion houses the Municipal hall public plaza, churches, public theater, private and public school buildings, public market, health center and business establishments.

The municipality has 33 Barangays, 4 of which the poblacion.  The barangays of poblacion are the following: poblacion1, poblacion2, poblacion3,poblacion4, 39     barangays outside the town are: Davila, Caruan, Dilavo,  Solungan, Estancia, Nagbayugan, Susugaen, Cababaan, Nalvo, Pragata, Salpad, Sapat, Sulbec, Nagsanga, Tadao, San Juan, Sta. Matilde, Surong, Dilanis, Tabungao, San Isidro, Nagrebcan, Naglicuan, Dadaeman, Ngabangab, Carusipan, and Binsang..
